After having an interview with “Stacey,” a business leader in spirituality, I discovered a lot regarding the field. When asked about her personal experience regarding how she got into this field and set her path on spirituality in context with business, she expresses her interests regarding spirituality. She’s always been a major breadwinner. She started her career by being on the radio. She also went to a broadcast school. Apart from radio, she also worked as a morning show co-host for the No.01 show in Ohio. When asked about her personal views regarding spirituality, she stated that she worked with people whose egos were not levelled according to spiritual perspectives. After working for 20 years on the radio sale side, she went into sports marketing. She worked in the Redwings as a corporate sales manager for five years. By the time she was battling herself with spirituality, she had reinvented herself by pursuing her career with a golf clothing line for the woman.
Stacey and Her Intention Setting:
Stacey also explained the process for intention setting, how she forms images in her mind. She does meditation to keep her mind at peace. Asked about her intention settings in her interview, Stacey said: you can see everything from your mind’s eye. Stacey’s vision board revolves around emotions. Stacey’s vision board is related to relationships. In her vision board, she has pictures of everything that she wants. For example, she has her Next Car on her vision board.
She didn’t graduate. Although she had a huge list of work experiences in her life, it’s the motivation that didn’t allow her to dictate to her or on which career path she would be. Stacey reveals in this interview that all the things that she has accomplished in her life are the intention setting for herself, leading her to be in this place where she is right now. It was Stacey’s intuition and gut that got her to know her value through this business. As a result, knowing the hardships of life from personal perspectives, Stacey’s views were very positive regarding her people. Stacey knows that the world and people around you don’t want to treat you with the value that you worth.
Experiences that make you more proud?
Stacey is very proud of her children, like most parents. However, aside from being a proud parent Stacey started her official cheerleader line. On the other hand, in her personal life, Stacey’s 2nd husband didn’t know about her Radio days; he came to know this when a car rental guy in California recognized Stacey. It was a proud moment for Stacey.
Back to 19, do you think all the fast-forwarding Zooming in and out of your life, do you think that you would prepare for that role fast-forwarding today? Do you think you are ready?
Stacey: Maybe I wasn’t, but I believe if you don’t get yourself uncomfortable, you are never going to know what you are capable of. There’s more to come. I still have more plans.
I was considering what level of preparation do you aspire to be successful? What level of practice do you typically desire?
Stacey: One thing leads to another. I’m not a money person; I’m more of a creative person who always comes up with new ideas.
Thinking about your Clothing line, have you come up with a mission? What is the core mission of your startup?
Stacey: The mission has become more significant than the clothing line because I want to grow golf for women. I think more women would golf if they look good on the golf course.
As a leader, how do you rise above the criticism?
Stacey: Haters are going to hate. You can let the control what your destination is. It would be best if you ignored it.
Do you think there’s an element of criticism and feedback that helps inform your policies as a business person?
Stacey: You should always be open-minded. Don’t let people know your weaknesses. That what leaders do. Surround yourself with people that are necessary “YES People.”
What concerns do you have for making sure that your family has a similar or better life than the one you have?
Stacey: I feel like that’s going to happen. There’s no one financially helping my children besides myself. Setting examples will allow them to be more successful.
